Great value for money, but the navigation on the road bike is a bit rubbish

- Wouter 14 August 2026

In terms of value for money, it’s a great cycle computer. My previous sat-nav, the Mio Cyclo, was due for replacement. I mainly use it to check my speed and so on, and to navigate home or to another familiar location when I’m a bit lost. As an added bonus, I always hope for a surprise/route function that actually works reasonably well. Unfortunately, that’s not the case here either: the sat-nav is quick to suggest a cycle route, and when you ask it to plan a route of X kilometres from your current location, you’re bound to end up on unpaved or gravel roads or half-paved footpaths in residential areas. This is something you wouldn’t take on a road bike yourself. Incidentally, this is also the case when navigating directly to an address. Only ferry crossings can be excluded.

Pros & Cons

Compact yet easy-to-read touchscreen
Compatible with Garmin and Mio mounts
Easy to install and pair with a phone
Value for money
Create your own routes using ‘Explore’
Exclude certain types of roads/paths
Automatic translation
